PREPARING THE DECK

Before we upload, let's make sure the deck is properly prepared!  Have a look at your deck and double check these things:
  • all card images are named properly, as deckfilename or deckfilenamefoil
  • mastery images are named properly, as deckfilename-master or deckfilenamefoil-master
  • the deck images feature a variety of sources (where possible), images that are too similar are not next to each other in the deck, and all images have been adjusted for sharpness and brightness

If everything looks good, you will next create a compressed folder of the deck.  Due to the necessity of the software, Foil decks are considered separate from their Standard decks, so if you are uploading a Standard deck and its Foil counterpart, you will need to make two separate compressed folders.

Ensure the accompanying mastery card is included in the compressed folder!

The compressed folder for the Standard deck should be named the same as the deck file name.  Same for Foil decks!

UPLOADING

To upload, you will log in to your account on the website, and click the admin link in the upper navigation menu!  This will take you to Stack, our admin interface!

In the sidebar, click on Dashboards, then Contents, then Cards.

Now here are the explanations of all these fields!

  • the deck name is the deck's name with things like spaces and capital letter.  It must be followed with the character's name, like so:  Central - John Bradford
  • the filename is the deck name with all spaces and capital letters removed.  The character's name is not present in this field
  • the deck maker is you!  Use the name you registered with on the website
  • the deck donator is the person who donated the deck.  Remember to use their player name, which is not necessarily their DW name on their donation post.  If you gathered the images for the deck yourself, the donator is you!
  • The big field is where we write the reason for the deck's name.  It should be a single complete sentence, and the name itself should be bold within that sentence.  Example:  "Mei's ultimate ability is called Blizzard."
  • Category is Base, DLC, Seasonal, or Patch.  Ignore the other options.
  • The Set/Series is the canon for Base and DLC, or for Patch and Season decks it is Multifandom.
  • Count and Break for Base and Patch Standard decks is 20 in the first field, 4 in the second field.  For DLC decks, the first number will be the number of cards in that deck for the first field, and 4 for the second field.  All Foil decks are 5 in the first field, 3 in the second.
  • Deck Type assigns the worth of the cards.  Choose regular for Base, Special for Patch, DLC, and Seasonal, and Rare for all Foils
  • Color is where we designate the deck's Class.  For DLC, Patch, and Season, write Multicharacter.
  • Puzzle should be No and Masterable should be Yes, but you will likely not have to change these.
  • And finally, when you are ready, click Browse to choose your compressed folder and hit Add Deck to finish up!

Here is a visual guide to what goes in each field.  It's the same info as above, just in image form.

FINALIZING

Almost done!  Follow these steps next to finish up:
  • Check the deck's page and give it a look over to double check everything uploaded correctly and that there are no mistakes.
  • DELIVER THE DONATION REWARDS TO THE DONATOR!  Their donation post is linked on the Deck Claims sheet, and their reward will be listed at the top of the Loading Screen post they commented on.
  • If you gathered the images yourself, you are free to use the randomizers to deliver your own deck donation pay
  • Mark the deck as !FINISHED in the Priority field on the Deck Claims sheet.
